Based on the realization that each dance has inherent within it the four stages of alchemy, we hosted four milongas each year:
Black for dissolution
White for purification
Red for Union
Gold for transformation
Our events take place in some of the most remarkable venues in Prague
We will inspire, be inspired, and we will embrace.
We will expand, and above all we will connect. We will circumambulate in a sacred way, day and night for 4 days. This is a new time, and this is Alchemie.
In this super high-charged time of transition, our tango- connecting is having a wider and wider effect. The more we dance, the more we strengthen what lies underneath…
During the 4 days of Alchemie, Solstice- St. John’s day, a 4,000 mile medicine wheel created by many tribes of the Americas will occur, with its center in San Jose Costa Rica. We will use the energy of this beautiful city- Praha, the threshold. We will delight in fabulous music and dance. We will send the joy of the connection we generate to the earth and unite with others on the planet who are working those same days to do the same.
It is a beautiful thing you do, this dance, this connection, this-wide embrace. Deepest thanks to all tangueros, to those of you who continually increase your connection to all things through the dance. To those of you who can join us- we can’t wait to see you!
Many of you have taken part in Phantastango - and don't need any further explanation... We're already looking forward to nine full and exciting days with you! We also have a bunch of new ideas and they might become even more until the camp starts... So, let yourself surprise!
Have you been looking for more in tango than the usual class followed by a ball in the night? Have you been wishing to dance tango in your summer holiday? Until the cow comes home? Really getting to know many people without having to take out a loan from your rich aunt? So, just do it!
Together with you, we want to let happen a camp, which provides lots of space for new ideas, very personal experiences and a great coming-together. The idea that this should be affordable for small purses takes center stage. Therefore, the Phantastango summer camp is actively supported by all participants. Daily routines such as cooking, preparing breakfast, cleaning and doing the dishes are shared in a way that everybody has to do four duties and - can entirely relax for the rest of the time!
In the Pfaennerhall you can dance from breakfast to falling onto your matress. The daily tango lab wants to provide a forum for interchanging tango knowledge and tricks. The daily tango lab provides a platform for a broad exchange of tango ideas. Our "Open Space" is free to be occupied by all sorts of participant's offers and, of course, classes will also be held there.
And, just in case of the situation that you might not be in the mood for dancing, you can easily explore the surroundings of the Pfaennerhall, have a swim, play games or just relax in the sun.
Since we're constantly working to improve the camp, we are grateful for all ideas and offers you might have for us! No matter which - moderating a tango lab, all sorts of leisure time offers, child care, equipment... Just let us know!

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.
Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser.
The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
